Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

So if you’re like me and like to make your own gifts for holidays or if you plain forgot that this Sunday is Father’s Day – DON’T PANIC. This delightful smelling aftershave is fast, easy, and simple – not to mention actually works and he will be asking for more in a month or two 🙂

What You’ll Need:

1/2  C Aloe vera

2 Tbs Witch hazel

10 drops of Frankincense oil

5 drops of Lavender oil

5 drops of Orange oil

1/2 Tbs Distilled water

A jar to place it in

Simply combine all ingredients in a vial of your choice. I got mine near the essential oils section in our health food store. The oils may scare you away with their prices but here are a few encouraging notes: first, bottles of essential oil last awhile! Especially if you’re making lots of little concoctions like this one. And second, though the price may be a bit up front – you are saving a TON of money by not going out and purchasing a bottle of aftershave at a superstore like Target.

Essential oils are awesome for a lot of things and I will be trying to post recipes regularly. From skin care to allergies and even cleaning products. These naturally derived oils are cheaper then the chemicals from the store, healthier for you and your family, and better for the environment.

Looking forward to sharing more with you!
